More Than a Goodbye: A Gift of Love and Wisdom
A beautiful soul who lived fully, loved deeply, and gave endlessly.
There is one moment with you I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
When I came to visit you at the hospital, even through your pain, your presence was filled with warmth. You looked at me with such deep love, so genuine, so sincere. You reached out, gently touched my face, and softly said,
“Enjoy life, Cyndy.”
In that moment, everything else faded away.
I felt it so clearly in my heart; you saw me as more than just a co-worker. You saw me as someone close, like a sister. You understood me without needing many words. You knew how often I placed work before my family, and even then, your message was not about yourself but about me, my life, my balance, my happiness.
When I left the hospital that day, I carried with me a feeling I still struggle to put into words, a sense of being truly seen, deeply cared for, and genuinely valued. I knew then that I was not just part of your work life but someone you held dearly in your heart.
And that was the last time we saw each other.
Now that you are gone, that moment has become something even more precious. It is no longer just a memory; it is a gift. A final expression of your love and wisdom that I will carry forever.
Even in your final days, you reminded me of what truly matters:
to slow down,
to cherish my family,
and to truly embrace this life.
Trisha, I will never forget your radiant smile, your strength, your resilience, and the boundless love you gave so freely—to your parents, your husband, your children, your siblings, and all who were blessed to know you.
And to me, you gave something incredibly special—
a gentle, lasting reminder to live life more fully and more meaningfully.
I will carry you in my heart, always. ❤️
